My gawsh, this place was our favourite late-night dance 'n' drinkerie in the universe for five years. (Didn't grow out of it...just wanted to make it special again).

Deep Scratch slight return

Charlie n myself laid down some loveleeee on a soop'd-up old track last night.

"Deep Scratch" been knocking around for near eighteen months and was starting to feel tad neglected, poor blighter...so we grabbed him by the short n curlies and shook him around a while.

Orginal instrumental's been here for ages. Check it - 'cos in about a weeks time this ere fugly duckling turns all beautiful swan on us (and nobody likes to miss a nice "before n after" now, do they?) Kithezz.

Secret stash

Okay, so we snuck in a sneaky sunshiney practice-set down at the London Marathon on Sunday.

Tried out a whole new set of songs. First outing with MHR’s latest recruit…insane new guitarist, Charlie, fitting glovelike into the summery slammers we’ve been working on. Expanse. Wait 'til it pops.

More BBQ than gig, our hosts set a bizarre Guinness world record and the vibe was all good. Promptly smashed the stage. Cool little knees-up in the shadow of Canary Wharf.

Shout out to Braham, Ollie, Dee, Brian, Leandra, Nicole and the crew. Ta all! Was fun.

Friday. “Woken” picks up a play and is described as part of a new “cloudy” “druggy” direction in electronica. (DJ’s words – not mine…I haven’t got the first clue about clouds) :))

Crews of crazy likeminds unleashing their wonderful, lunatic brainchilds onto us. Fusing MHR into the sharpest mix of creative muscle we can be. Special. We love that. (You know who you are).

Three months gone. Too much to rinse. Ma boy Lopez, oh, he went insane...

Not like all, GUHHHH!-wherethepartyat…no, proper skew-whiff. All side-wonky. The full clinic.

Tells me, not so bad, no bigsh*t. Tells me I should try it on for size. Kinda rewarding.

Upshot bees - creatives roar payback. From induced distraction seeps disorder. Bi-prods of one unholy purge. Who-the-whatnow can say what was ever meant in the first place - but we leaner 'n meaner for it...uh-huh.

We Used to Explode and Woken, two new songs are coaxed from our pitless souls by some unrelenting demon laying claim to Rosemary’s caesarian second-born.

Resulting pulse makes you feel like you’ve blind-sided your happy-place late at night, only to drag it kicking and screaming down a dark alley to have yer wicked wayzzzzz.
